Austin based garage rock band, Harlem, are set to release their sophomore album, Hippies, next month. Fans are to expect, "drum spasms" and "jerky, elastic strumming that mangles classic rock into a child’s play thing." Hippies is their first release on Matador Records. The 16 track album, releasing in April will have a more chorus-oriented in comparison to their previous record, Free Drugs, which had more of a 50s lo-fi, garage sound. Here is "Friendly Ghosts,"- the first single off their sophomore album.
