I just watched The Dead Weather's new video for "Treat Me Like Your Mother". The Dead Weather made up of of Alison Mosshart from The Kills, Jack Lawrence from The Raconteurs , Dean Fertita from Queens of the Stone Age, and Jack White from The White Stripes and The Raconteurs, have produced a sound heavily influenced by Jack White's personal sound with a mix of the Kills..ohh i wonder why. ha! Anyways i was a little hesitant on if i was actually going to like this new combo, but after watching the video i can pretty much say "its not a bad band..they're actually pretty okay". Now i'm a little anxious to what they will further produce and what tricks they may just have up their sleeves. For the meantime, check out their video for "Treat Me Like Your Mother". Jack and Alison are so badass and so cool.
Probably the youngest pop punk band of the moment, Brooklyn-based siblings Ivan(15) and Ada(13) aren't actually all that bad. I came across them not quite long ago as i watched Subterranean, a music video show heavily focused on the indie music scene. Listen to their songs, you might just actually like them too. And plus..they are extremely cute, you can't help not like them.

Check out Jackson. He's so cute, but where are his signature big glasses?
A narrative story filled with poetic images and sounds, this film focuses on the maturation of a 15 year old girl named Jay. Filled with self-discovery as well as the discovery of the sexual attraction to the opposite sex, this film follows Jay and two of her friends through the type of journey every teenager experiences.
Directed by KT Auleta, film debuted February 17th at the Anthology Film Archives in NYC.
Can you spot a well known actor in the band, The Grass Roots??
"I'm not offended by homosexuality. In the sixties, I made love to many, many women. Often outdoors, in the mud and the rain, and it's possible a man slipped in. Would be no way of knowing."
So now I'm thinking.is there any truth to this quote said by Creed in an episode of the Office?? Hmm....
Beautiful lyrics-one of my all time favorite songs. It honestly makes me want to cry every time i listen to it. Neutral Milk Hotel is definitely a band in my top. In my opinion-one of the best bands of the 90s. So good.
What a beautiful face I have found in this place That is circling all round the sun What a beautiful dream That could flash on the screen In a blink of an eye and be gone from me Soft and sweet Let me hold it close and keep it here with me, me
And one day we will die And our ashes will fly from the aeroplane over the sea But for now we are young Let us lay in the sun And count every beautiful thing we can see Love to be In the arms of all I'm keeping here with me, me
What a curious life we have found here tonight There is music that sounds from the street There are lights in the clouds Anne's ghost all around Hear her voice as it's rolling and ringing through me Soft and sweet How the notes all bend and reach above the trees, trees
Now how I remember you How I would push my fingers through Your mouth to make those muscles move That made your voice so smooth and sweet Now we keep where we don't know All secrets sleep in winters clothes With one you loved so long ago Now he don't even know his name
What a beautiful face I have found in this place That is circling all round' the sun And when we meet on a cloud I'll be laughing out loud I'll be laughing with everyone I see Can't believe how strange it is to be anything at all
