Alexander Wang, the designer that left his house at the age of 18 to study fashion at Parson's. He's a wonderful designer and isn't receiving the recognition he deserves. It seems that he has recently been the "it" designer because of his stylist-Erin Wasson. Sure, she styled his show good, but she's not the mastermind behind his designs. We should give HIM more credit, dont you think?

There's something about the rain that i just love. is it the cold? the clothes? the clouds? thunder and lightning? Maybe. But i always see the rain as a new beginning. The rain washes off all the dirt on the streets, the grass looks greener, the sky seems cleaner, and when you look out your window, everything looks crystal clear. It also makes you want to stay home, with your family and you forget about all materialistic things-well in my case, at least. You appreciate your surroundings and make you content. I think thats why i like it. Its such a beautiful thing.

I was in the seventh grade when i first stumbled upon what i consider to be my favorite band of all time, The Unicorns. Although the band broke up, their music still lives and i continue to appreciate them-downloading lost tracks and producing art for my bedroom walls, such as their album covers. Unlike any other bands sound, they were definitely a unique band.

So this season plaid has once again become an essential item in everyone's closet. It gained its popularity in the 90s due to grunge bands and Burberry once again brought it back with recurring seasons.
Plaid can be a great trend, only if you know how to wear it correctly-not overdoing it so that it looks youre a catholic school girl or make you seem like the former fourth member to Nirvana. The best thing to keep in mind when wearing plaid is to keep it simple. Wear solid colors accompanying the particular plaid item so that its the main thing in your outfit.
And thats it.
